Acclaimed pastry chef Diane Moua is opening her eagerly-anticipated Hmong American restaurant in the Food Building in Northeast Minneapolis. Diane's Place will serve breakfast and lunch, with dinner coming soon.

The 43rd Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF) brings bold, exciting and inspiring works by emerging and veteran filmmakers to the Twin Cities. The carefully curated selection of 250+ new films represents some 100 cultures and countries.

A spring time tradition at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, this free festival is all about mixing flowers and art. See floral arrangements take shape as some of your favorite fine art pieces at the 40th Annual Art in Bloom.

5. Disney's The Lion King

6. Art-A-Whirl
Art-A-Whirl brings together over 800 artists at more than 60 locations showcasing their work, and is a great chance to meet and buy art from all types of different artists including painters, jewelers, photographers, and woodcarvers. This event is the largest of its kind in the country and includes opportunities to see private artist studios and galleries, demonstrations, mini-workshops, installations and special exhibitions.
Breweries and restaurants are also known to throw some pretty awesome parties to join in the fun. These are the top activities to check out during Art-A-Whirl 2024!

Chef Kamal Mohamad will open cocktail bar WildChld this spring next to his Northeast Minneapolis restaurant StepChld. The bar program will feature fruit brand and a menu of light snacks.
