Union Rooftop
In Minneapolis, we like outdoor dining so much that we do it year-round! Union has a retractable glass-enclosed rooftop so you can soak up the rays in the summer or stay nice and cozy in the colder months.
Brit’s Pub
The 10,000 square foot lawn bowling green, authentic bangers and mash and popular spot for watching soccer and rugby games have made Brit’s Pub a true Minneapolis destination. Yoga classes and unique sporting events often find their way to Brit's. Grab a pint and a bite and get ready to take a trip to England.
The Butcher's Tale
A meat-lovers paradise, The Butcher's Tale specializes in smoked meats with an outstanding beer and whiskey list. Head out to their year-round beer garden complete and take advantage of their Triple B Combo deal, which gets you a Sandwich, a beer and and a bump of Jim Bean Black Label. Patio dining doesn’t get much better than that
Sea Salt Eatery
Don’t let the line scare you. Sea Salt has some of the best seafood in Minneapolis. Only open April – October, the seasonal restaurant is a well-known summer hangout. Walk a few feet off of the patio and stand right above the incredible Minnehaha Falls. You can even feel the splash of the cool water against your skin.
Surly
It’s the back yard of your dreams. Fire pits, games, picnic tables, tons of green space. Oh, and 24 Surly beers on tap plus a full menu that goes way beyond “bar food.” It’s almost like a campus for beer. Did we mention they’ve got a pizzeria upstairs too? You’re welcome.
Aster Café
Walk along the cobblestone road and step into what feels like a completely different place. Aster Café has a beautiful outdoor patio located just across from the river. Sit under the shade of the trees, enjoy a glass of wine and some apps and take in the view.
Cardamom
Dine outside of the Walker Art Center and enjoy a front row seat to the famous Minneapolis Sculpture Garden! Top your meal off with a walk through the park to complete your experience.
Jax Cafe
Jax Cafe originated in 1910, opened it's bar in 1933, and has been a staple in Northeast Minneapolis ever since. The patio is a little oasis, with vibrant trees in the summer, and a warming fireplace in the cooler months. What really makes it unique is the stream running through the patio housing live trout. Listen to the soothing flow of the water while you enjoy a cocktail and a steak.
Graze Food Hall
Graze Provisions + Libations is a food hall with a collective of small food businesses with different offerings. Grab coffee and a pastry, stop for a sandwich or salad, or choose from empanadas, mac n cheese, fried chicken, rice bowls, and more. Pair your meal with a cocktail and take it all up to the rooftop and get a truly incredible view of the downtown skyline.
